I have been with this Practice for many years and have today called the Practice to book an appointment to be seen. Upon calling I was informed that a member of the duty team would call me back to arrange and discuss my problem. I received a call from the Nurse who then booked an appointment for me. I have just been seen by a Doctor, given medication and have been booked in to see them again in a couple of weeks. In view of all the negative comments the NHS receives, I would like to thank you for your good service today.

Literally the only fault that I can find with this surgery is the waiting room time and the awful heat in there. The doctors here are fantastic , very caring and professional. Dr's reddy (m) ,reeve & farmer in particular .... Dr farmers gentle interaction with children really stands out.
Saw the same doctor 7 times with my baby from 8 weeks old until now and my baby is now 16 weeks old. We mentioned the same thing every time we saw the doctor, he told me to try many different home rememdies including swapping his milk twice which people with babies know how this makes them suffer with stomach cramps, he also gave prescriptions which did not help at all if anything made the situation worse. I spent a lot of money on stuff the doctor advised us to use but nothing worked and now I know why. We have now got the problem solved but only because another family member started to get similar symptoms and saw a different doctor which I also requested to do but seemed like there was never anyone else who could see us, my baby was born 6 weeks premature and for the past 8 weeks he has had to suffer day in day out because of this one particular doctor who clearly does not have a clue what he is doing. Other Doctots in the surgery over the last could of days have been amazing and wouldnt fault them one bit ( DR Farmer). But as for the doctor I have made a formal complaint and will be taking this further.
Having been a member of this practice since being a child I have always been treated with due care and respect. Fast forward 20 years or so and It's a very different story. I hardly ever visit the doctor, and half the time it's because I've taken to seeking help elsewhere. i.e Worcester family planning, local health shop, Google, you get the drift. The attitude of the receptionists leaves little to be desired. No matter the time of day I call I have been made to feel that I've inconvenienced them. I don't appreciate having to tell a receptionist what the problem is, when my health issues are far better discussed between myself and a professional GP. Saying that I haven't actually seen my supposed registered doctor ever, well maybe once. During the first discussion with the receptionist you are to tell them your health problem, then they will make you take a phone appointment with a doctor, which then allows them to decide if you are worthy of an appt, and their precious time. After which you are met with a sharp *bye* and an immediate dial tone! I don't know if said receptionists are just born with cold, dead hearts, or if training is given? I must give credit where it's due, they've got that attitude down to a tee. I shall be moving on to a different practice, so with all due respect Merstow, thanks but no thanks.
