Very disappointed with the food. Haven't been in for a long while. Last time I went in the sausage and mash was lovely, presented well with plenty of onion gravy. This time it was like a child's portion with hardly any gravy, and the potatoes were hardly edible and as if the peas had been thrown in from Coventry! My partner had steak and she described it like a piece of frying steak! Be a very long time before we go in again!
This is a great hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you won't good value, nice drink this is a great place to eat.
Steak night on a Tuesday, good value for money. The staff are a credit to the place, well trained and always very helpful.
Quite a nice pub in a very nice location. However, i got the local village nutter trying to sit on my knee as i obviously had his seat. And others constantly stared at us due to us being not local or maybe it was us feeling we were being watched whilst eating..but i,d easily go again this time to take snap shots of them,lol.
Typical Wetherspoons food usually good fair selection of beers and ciders some for only 1.99. Place is getting a bit shabby again but OK compared to some other locals. Nice beer garden when the weather is good
