Offers a great cafe right on the river with outside seating. It is a good stop while walking along the bank of the Avon. I had an eggs bennie here once and it was made with lunchmeat ham and smothered in far too much hollandaise. Not the best in terms of food but it's got location going for it.
Hard veg. Meat ok Yorkshire pud rubber. Soup very peppery. Cheese cake great. Wine a bit expensive 5-50 a glass.
We went for a carvery and all in all the food was ok, the meat was extremely dry but you get a lot. It was not busy, 1 more couple and I had to wait at the bar for 10 minutes and no one even said hello or welcomed us which I found to be a bit rude.
Good place to visit. Nice surroundings good coffee and views of the ferry and river.
Food & drink was average at best. Service was beyond poor, I had to ask for a tray in order to carry drinks/food out myself. They wouldnt allow dogs inside. What was extremely poor was that ourselves and another group had to stand outside with our dogs when there was a downpour. There is no good reason for this unfriendly attitude as food is not prepared in the cafe seating area, which was empty at the time! Wouldn't bother again, much better places that are more welcoming and understand how to offer good service within a 5 minute walk.
