Sat down with family and friends after the being in town for the Xmas lights and fireworks, never had a problem with the food in the past 5 years that I've been coming here until today when I had to sendo a burger back as the bun was stale and it didn't have an egg in it like ordered. And then I turn around to see a dog in the restaurant area, I know it's only a chippy but still there are set standards to follow and allowing a dog in is not right, don't ever let a dog in the room when I'm eating at home so I don't expect to go to the chippy to sit down and eat and there be a dog in there, just bloody wrong. Other than that it's not a bad place to be honest
Lovely family run chip shop with cafe / dining area at the rear. Very friendly and quick service. Standard fish & chips menu, plus some classic items. Always tasty and excellent value for money. Definitely a nice Friday even treat. Special note for OAPs they have a series of specials, which include a pot of tea.
