Lot's of stuff you can buy all under one roof. It's also not expensive and very reasonable for sure. It's just like what pounstrecher used to be but better. Worth the visit and be prepared to spend as little thing's add up. Plenty of parking space too.
Bought a power saw from here and it stated on the box and instructions a blade is provided. There wasn't one inside when I opened the box. Returned to the store and all the others were the same ! I had to buy a pack of 10 so I could use it. Not the fault of the staff but I feel I should've been given the blades free or at least at a discount ?
It's good. Has lots of everything from pictures to garden ornaments, kids toys to washing liquid. No books for kids. Well worth a browse. Comprehensive Christmas section.
My family and I are new to the area. And this was my first visit to The Range. Came in just out of curiosity and first impressions were of a well stocked shop and was reasonably busy bring a Saturday. I spent a while just browsing and of all things looked at the toilet seats, and saw one called the Nautical. It was in two locations and I took from the upper shelf where there was a price displayed of 12.99 on the bottom shelf were more but without any price. I thought it a good price at 12.99 and proceeded to checkouts where I was told 16.99. I said to what was the customer service checkout that it was marked at a lower price and was told it was what she said. Her manner was totally indifference to how I felt. So she called for someone help. While waiting 10 minutes it was one problem after another I noticed. Customer after me wanted a jacket but zero price tag. Girl on next checkout couldnt get a product to scan and something about cards not able to be used. Man with jacket said it was always chaotic like this. Eventually someone came to help so we walked to the seats for him to see. He said nothing he could do and would need to get the manager come to deal with me. After 5 minutes he came back to say the manager wouldnt honour the price displayed. By this point I had had more than enough but took the seat anyway. Got back to find one of the fittings missing and really am so angry now I will go back at another time soon. I left feeling the shop was not being run correctly and staff that really dont care including the manager who didnt want to represent the company but instead left what needed being done to a young boy. The review of 1 * sadly shows what lack of customer service can do. To anybody senior in the company reading this I suggest training in customer care wouldnt go amiss here. And sorry to say this first visit is likely to be my last. Having just submitted this I have been reading other reviews going back months. Re staff and poor customer service nothing has changed.
